On April 10, the Nucleus-of-Light of São Carlos, Immaculate House Relief of Suffering and the Network-of-Light in São José do Rio Preto, affiliated to the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, celebrate two years of work with the Pilgrims of Mary. The meeting takes place in the city of São José do Rio Preto, state of São Paulo, Brazil. 60 people are expected, among Pilgrims of several cities of the region.
During the meeting a talk will be held about the apparition of the Mary, as the Virgin of Guadalupe, in Mexico city, in 1531. “It is important for us to situate ourselves in the history of the apparitions and thus reinforce their meaning and our commitment to keep working, so that this work that Mary performs may act in the conversion of hearts”, explains Mother Maria Cleonice, of the Monastery of Transfiguration.
Besides the talk, the meeting will have moments of prayer and the retransmission of the apparition of Mary that took place in the city of São José do Rio Preto, on March 30, 2014. The data also marks the beginning of the work of the Divine Messengers with the Pilgrims.
According to Mother Maria Cleonice, the love and force of these Pilgrims has radiated and attracted new Pilgrims from other cities and stimulated the formation of new Groups of Prayer. “When Mary chose the city of São José do Rio Preto to make the apparitions, she surely already knew the hearts of her children, so faithful and so devoted to her Immaculate Heart. There was a very strong response of this group to this work, and in these two years of activities we have verified what the power and the force of prayer is and how this has brought transformation inside the families of the Pilgrims”.
